Energy and parametric analysis of Organic Rankine Cycle combined with a vapor compression refrigeration cycle (ORC-VCR) system using natural refrigerants

The dependency on fossil fuels for power generation can be reduced by enhancing the energy efficiency of generating systems. refrigeration systems that typically use electricity consume a significant portion supplied to cities. STAND-ALONE system which consists combined Organic Rankine Cycle and Vapor Compression (ORC-VCR) is analyzed using first law thermodynamics. Dry natural hydrocarbons such as n-Dodecane used working fluid in (ORC) Working isobutane (R600a) utilized Refrigeration (VCR) Cycle. study shows driven efficiently with Low-grade waste heat from industries or thermal renewable sources range 1000C 3500C thus reducing reliance fuel sources. results also show overall Coefficient performance COP ORC was greatly affected evaporation temperature ORC, Teva_ORC followed by, VCR, Teva_VCR. maximum found 0.558 20.69% 3150C Teva_VCR -300C.
